Scrabble

Jake won last night's Scrabble game handily. He did a great job! (See the board at left and the scorecard at right.) Chris had some bad luck on the tile draw. (And he also had a stomachache from something he ate.) I had pretty good tiles, although I did draw Q and J. Jake also cut a break on obscure words. It's very cool that we are all competitive. That makes the game fun and faster.

Jake goes back to school Monday (tomorrow). I am going to miss him, but I am so happy that he likes going to school and living in the dorm -- for the most part. His classes this semester sound good -- writing workshop, creative writing, cinema classics and either Western Civilization or psychology. I hope he does well and enjoys himself. He has school newspaper work to do, too. That should be good experience for him.
