A visitor in the backyard

Our bluebird box was lying down this morning. We think a deer rubbed up against it and knocked it down. Chris and I walked down there this morning, and we were surprised by a black snake nearby. I went back to the house to get the camera, and the black snake stuck around for a while. The snake eventually slithered away.

We stepped carefully on our way back to the back porch.
